As a pregnancy and pediatric dietitian, Élodie helps bring balance to families, promoting healthy eating and well-being, showing that even small changes can transform family life.
Dietitian and nutritionist with 16 years of experience in fertility, pregnancy, postnatal, pediatric and family health.
As a mom of three kids aged 9 to 14, I’ve faced quite a few challenges during their early years—breastfeeding struggles, introducing solid foods (my daughter refused purées!!!), and having one very selective eater at mealtime.
With everyone’s busy schedules and different activities, I also had to relearn how to organize meal planning to make sure each family member got balanced and nourishing meals that met their needs.
My experiences, combined with my expertise as a pediatric and family nutritionist, allow me to support you through the challenges you’re facing.
For over 15 years, Élodie has been guiding women, children, and families through every stage of life — from fertility to adolescence.
She began her career in private practice, offering personalized nutrition consultations to a diverse clientele, including pediatrics, pregnancy, diabetes, digestive issues, weight management, and food allergies. This experience allowed her to develop a warm, person-centered approach tailored to each family’s unique needs.
She later continued her mission within the public health system, notably at the CIUSSS de Laval and CIUSSS du Nord-de-l’Île-de-Montréal, where she supported families in vulnerable situations, led workshops for parents and children, and collaborated with the OLO and SIPPE programs to promote healthy eating habits from early childhood.
Élodie also contributed to well-known initiatives at the Université de Montréal with Extenso, such as the Nos Petits Mangeurs and Naître et Grandir projects, which have helped thousands of families nourish their children more effectively.
Since 2024, she has been using her expertise to support daycare centers, preschools, and residences, helping plan balanced menus that meet current nutrition policies while assisting families in adopting a varied and realistic approach to everyday eating.
Today, Élodie combines her clinical expertise, public health experience, and personal journey as a mother of three to offer an approach that is both evidence-based and compassionate — rooted in the real-life challenges parents face today.
Élodie has contributed to several books and articles focused on helping families eat better in their daily lives.
Co-author of Je cuisine avec des images (Éditions Carte Blanche) and Recettes santé pour mères de famille pressées (Ixelles Éditions)
Author of articles for Protégez-Vous and the Canadian Journal of Dietetic Practice and Research
Speaker at public health events and university conferences on health promotion and family nutrition
Outside of her clinical practice, Élodie is actively involved in her community.
She has led numerous nutrition workshops for pregnant women, parents, and children, and has organized educational activities in schools as well as community cooking projects.
Élodie has also volunteered in hospitals and school settings and has served on the boards of organizations that support children and families.
A mother of three, and passionate about cooking, reading, and the outdoors, she understands the challenges of everyday life and loves helping families find a healthy and realistic balance.
