FAQ with Linzy, Prenatal and Pediatric Dietitian

Frequently asked questions

  • Do you give meals plans?

I create my meal plans through a user-friendly, That Clean Life and Nutrium system. You get your meal plans after each session. However, before receiving a meal plan, we must first have an initial assessment to ensure I know your particular goals, medical history, current intake, and preferences before making any informed recommendations.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your session, and we aim to provide a transparent cancellation policy. Please review the following guidelines:

    Cancellation Notice:

    • We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling.

    Cancellation Fees:

      • Should a client cancel within less than 24 hours before their scheduled consultation, 100% of the session fee will be charged. This fee is in place to protect the time of our dietitians and avoid lost opportunities for others.

    Reminder Notifications:

      • To help avoid these cancellation fees, we send email and text reminders before any meetings to serve as a reminder that can often allow you to confirm, cancel, or reschedule your session should anything come up.

    Cancellation and Rescheduling:

      • Our client portal allows all of our clients to have access to modify, cancel, or reschedule their appointments. We encourage our clients to use this feature right away should any changes happen prior to the appointment
  • Are all the sessions online?

Yes, all sessions will typically take place through Zoom. However, I am also able to conduct sessions by phone. Our Practice Better system allows for excellent scheduling, communication, and invoicing. Once you begin working with me, you will have access to your Practice Better account and Zoom links for all sessions.

  • Do I have to pay when booking a consultation?

Your credit card information will be necessary to book consultations, but there will be no charge until the end of your session or if there is a cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment.

  • Can you create a super bill for me?

Yes, after each session, I can provide the necessary paperwork to bill your insurance for my services if they are covered.

  • Do you do direct billing? Or can you give me an insurance recipt?

I currently do not offer direct billing. You are responsible for billing your insurance with the superbill I provide for reimbursement.

  • What Insurance Providers are you covered by?

I am an out-of-network dietitian; however, I am currently working on becoming an in-network dietitian.

Call your insurance provider before booking if you are unsure about overage.

  • Are you part of the blue cross network?

Not at this time, our consultations will be considered ”out-of-network”. I can still provide superbills for you to submit if your plan covers out-of-network dietitians. Please call your insurance to confirm before booking.
